Guanajuato, Gto., February 21, 2016.- With applause and standing ovation looked the emblematic scenario San Roque at the end of the theatrical play "Entremeses Cervantinos", presented by the University Theater to commemorate their 63-year career.

This scenario was also a witness of the acknowledgement that the University of Guanajuato (UG) gave to who has been part and worked arduously in this group.

At the beginning of the event, the Director of Cultural Extension of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Sara Julsrud López, invited for this tradition to continue, that it's not only about UG but from all the people in Guanajuato. She assured that theater has transcended and continues transcending national and international frontiers, being the detonator in 1972 of the "Festival Internacional Cervantino".

She added that within the celebration of the 400 death anniversary of Cervantes, to honor the memory of such illustrious writer, there will be functions played by the University Theater Group, who has already prepared them for the rest of the year. Finally, she thanked and congratulated the members whose work and dedication, affirmed, make this house of studies proud.

On his behalf, the Director of the University Theater, M. Hugo Gamba Briones reminded what once "Don Palillo" commented –Knowing all this began because they liked to do wacky things—said that today, 63 years ago, those wacky things have transcended in history, making this act incredible, since nobody imagined none of this.

He expresses that this play is practically untouched, maintaining their originality for 63 years, continuing with the essence of what the University Theater is.

Likewise, the Dean of the University Theater Group, Francisco Caballero, said that this function was dedicated to the founders and every peer in different generations who have already left this world.

Finally, Pedro Vázquez Nieto, said that when the night began, people who attended the scenario at San Roque transforms into the characters, that the prince of ingenuity invented for glory one day, but the magic has not perished bur persists through the years and they will demonstrate it, for the boost to give voice to speakers, to the careful guard and the altarpiece of wonders.

"I feel that Ruelas is not here, Olivares is not here, but here is Trueba and then us and then who follows, because this has been created for eternity and a day after", finalized Pedro Vázqueznieto.
