Guanajuato, Gto., February 24, 2016. As part of the project "México en una gota" (Mexico in a drop), a group of students from the High School (HS) Celaya created a cultural forum in this campus, where 120 students participated in a rally in which they demonstrated their knowledge and skills in different artistic disciplines.

The finality of these forums is to promote Mexican Art and Culture through recreational activities in a rally; there, the high school students demonstrated their knowledge, dexterities, imagination and capability to work in teams.

It is worth to mention that another 120 students wanted to participate, however, for logistic reason they could only admit the first 120 students who subscribed, and with which they created 12 teams.

Some of the activities that occurred during the rally were: Painting, in which a student had to draw on paper with any part of his body; Sculpture, the team had to give the name of emblematic Mexican sculptures; and in Architecture, the participant made structures with wooden sticks and clay.

In the Popular art theme, the organizing team exposed the main Mexican handcrafts and the participating students had to know the state of the republic where they were made. In singing, the youth participated in a karaoke with typical Mexican Songs. In literature, the students had to mention the author of some plays and finally, in Dancing, they danced to the rhythm of Mexican musical pieces.

It is important to mention that the members of the group "Mexico en una gota", produced the recorded interviews with professors in their school regarding the mentioned topics, and these were displayed before the rally started, so the students could apply the acquired knowledge in an audiovisual form.

All the activities were graded by members of the organizing group; Beatriz Álvarez Granados, José Armando Olvera Hernández, Luis Ricardo Herrera Villagómez, Alma Paulina García González and professor –project's advisor—M. Antonio de la Vega.

The teams were awarded with university souvenirs.

The next cultural forums will occur as follows: March 10th at HS Irapuato; March 17th at HS Salvatierra; April 14th at HS Leon and May 19th at HS Guanajuato.

The presentation of the conclusions and experiences of these activities, will be displayed in the Teatro Principal of the City of Guanajuato next May 30th.
