
Guanajuato, Gto., February 24, 2016.- Throughout the present semester, which concludes in June, the Economic-Administrative seminars will be developed for all the students in the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA) of the first semesters with the purpose to complement their professional formation.
That is how Dr. Adriana Aguilera Arrieta made it public, coordinator of such seminars, whose purpose, she highlighted, is to generate a transdisciplinary academic space where all the students in the division, in the first semesters and all degrees, have an opportunity to be in touch with all the transversal themes related to their comprehensive formation, agreeing with the University's vision.
Besides, it is very clear, that all the topics in the degrees' disciplinary area they are studying; in such way that the intention is to generate the seminars as an academic space that provides the opportunity to know firsthand professionals, full-time professors of the division, other professors of the University of Guanajuato and other national and international institutions with topics that somehow interrelate in a multidisciplinary transversal way.
Within these seminars, there was the presence of the producer Alejandro Solar who spoke about how to finance a documentary, what happens with the resources when there is a great story to tell, as it was in his case the documentary "El paciente interno" that has to be with the formation of a citizenship and in which the youth was very interested.
Also present, will be Jaime Morfín, who is a consultant in the city of Mexico, to speak to the college students on what to expect in the job market from a recent graduate in an area like this, and which are their characteristics.
They also have full-time professors of DCEA and guests scheduled, like Dr. Shafia Succar who will dissert on the Letter for Earth; Monica Castañeda Botella, who will speak about the importance of languages as part of their professional formation.
They also contemplate the class from an economy professor and another about the quality, besides Dr. Jairo Báez, of Colombia, who will speak about the relationship there is between the mental health and the prevailing economic model.
To complement the seminar, M. José Eduardo Vidaurri, of the Tourism degree and M. Martha Figueroa López, who is a consultant of insurance and comes to speak about the importance of ethics in companies. With these topics, expressed Dr. Aguilera Arrieta, they pretend to manifest to the students that they can study all they want and also do many things and be successful as people and professionals.
