Guanajuato, Gto., February 23, 2016.- After 42 years of uninterrupted formation of many generations of lawyers, M. Jesús Meza Ortiz concluded his labor as a scholar in the Division of Law, Politics and Government from Campus Guanajuato; in a ceremony where the love and respect of his students, colleagues and university authorities was present.

It was the job of Dr. Eduardo Pérez Alonso, Director of the Department of Law, to make a resemblance of M. Meza Ortiz, his teachings and closeness with the students, always with his characteristic phrase "Hombre, si es bien fácil" (Man, this is very easy!) when a young student consulted him about a case. On his part, the student Serbio Sánchez Pineda, referred that the scholar always motivated them to study, to do research, planted uneasiness and, for many, Meza Ortiz represents the spirit of the Labor Law.

In his opportunity, and after receiving a recognition for the dedicated years of teaching at the University of Guanajuato; M. J. Jesús Meza remembered with joy a day September 1974, when he was assigned as a Procedural law professor of the then School of Law.

"How many inerasable memories, how many challenges", he said, after more than four decades of teaching at the University of Guanajuato; 20 years in conciliation and arbitration meetings and two periods as a magistrate of the Contentious-Administrative Court, difficult jurisdictional function, but uneasy, he accepted. Before finishing his message, he thanked the deep love from his family, that always kept him in his fruitful labor life.

Finally, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, Rector of Campus Guanajuato, made an extended recognition to the human warmth of M. Meza Ortiz, demonstrated not only in the classroom, but in the Office of Academic Rights, where always, with a broad knowledge of the regulations, also declared from the side of the students and professors.

It is an honor, held Dr. Corona Fernández, being able to thank M. Meza in the name of the University of Guanajuato, every year of commitment to the institution and a reminder that he is still part of the community, because all the professors who retire and all the students who graduate, never leave the hive.

At the ceremony were also present, Dr. Teresita Rendón Huerta Barrera, Director of the Division of Law, Politics and Government and M. José Cervantes Herrera, Academic Secretary of such division, among other members of the university community.
