
León, Gto., February 26, 2016.- Jesús Fernando Regalado López, a High School "Centro Histórico León" (ENMCHL) student obtained a place to travel to Texas through the summon "Rumbo a Japón 2015" (Road to Japan), organized by "Educafin".
The project "Rumbo a Japón 2015" consists in rewarding with a trip to the Nippon country for students who in their life had innovative ideas of social impact.
The contest consists in two stages, the first was to gather evidence of moments in their life that show leadership, as well as a project of social impact and a cover letter to express why they consider entrepreneurs. The second stage consists in convoking the finalists to expose the project in front of a jury and at the same time answer a series of questions.
In his presentations, Jesús Regalado exposed his leadership and highlighted his participation as a coach of a middle school female basketball team and his recognition for his academic performance; in addition of creating small cultures of wheat germ, from which you can obtain organic food and can work as an economic solution for farmers and ranchers.
He assures that the competition was tight, since he had to compete with people from different educational levels, from high school, university, doctorate and master degrees.
He is aware that the road to achieve a goal is difficult, but he assures that the reward of the work is the satisfaction of knowing that the objective is reached.
He considers important to thank the support from the people who helped him come forward and fulfill one of his dreams, especially his family, his classmates, professors and directors of the institution.
Finally, he says that his longing is to continue participating in projects of social impact and put in practice the leadership ideas to create initiatives that help the student community and in consequence, society.
