Guanajuato, Gto., March 11, 2016.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) has worked arduously in reviewing the agreement that allows the double degree of the Master in Management with Southern Oregon University (SOU).

For that, an SOU's delegation visited the University of Guanajuato led by Dr. Héctor Efraín Rodríguez de la Rosa, Pro Vost; Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López, Director of the Division of Economic Administrative Sciences (DCEA) of Campus Guanajuato and Dr. Erika Lourdes González Rosas, Coordinator of the Master in Management.

In the several work sessions participated from SOU, the Associate Secretary, Dr. Jody Waters; Director of the School of Business, Communication and Environment, Dr. Gregory Jones; Chief of Business Department, Dr. Joan McBee and the coordinator of Master in Management, Dr. René Ordoñez.

At the beginning of the negotiations, Dr. Claudia Susana Goméz López manifested her interest that the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences of UG's Campus Guanajuato and SOU's School of Business, Communication and Environment, work together to find the best collaboration, developing new activities and creating a new program.

On his part, Dr. Gregory Jones expresses the significance it is for the School of Business, Communication and Environment to maintain the program for the close relationship between both universities, besides, for the members of the academic enclosure is very attractive to collaborate in the same.

As part on the results from the negotiation, they set the bases to create a new program in which one part is taught in Ashland and another part in Guanajuato, both institutions share the staff, credits, benefits and risks. Such agreements will be set in a new collaboration agreement between SOU and UG, which is sought to be signed in the near future.
