Guanajuato, Gto., March 14, 2016.- It took place in the University of Guanajuato, the conference "The strategy of Mazda to be a brand car company in the world" in which they told the origins, progresses, the economic and academic liaison of the company Mazda with Mexico.

This conference was presented by the President and CEO, Keishi Egawa, who explained that the support from Mexico and the state of Guanajuato, have allowed a liaison with Japan, generating a collaboration between the University off Guanajuato and the University of Hiroshima.

Within the academic activities done by the University of Hiroshima, stands out the shipping of professors to schools of Japanese in Guanajuato and teaching the Japanese language to Mazda employees.

At the end of the conference, representing the General Rector of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, UG's Pro Vost, Dr. Héctor Efraín Rodríguez de la Rosa, thanked Mazda for showing the university community its history, growth and future plans.

He mentioned that the University joined Mazda's objectives, regarding implementing projects in Guanajuato so it may be prosperous, generating new opportunities for society in the social, economic and academic ambiance.

During this conference, there was the presence of UG's Academic secretary, Dr. José Luis Lucio Martínez; Director of the High School College, Q.F.B. Martha Oliva Gallaga Ortega; Rector of Campus Leon, Dr. Carlos Hidalgo Valadez; Rector of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, Dr. Ernesto Alfredo Camarena Aguilar; as well as directors from General Rectory.

It is worth mentioning that this year, UG's Direction of Academic Cooperation, will visit the University of Hiroshima to make adjustments in administrative matters, and achieve the possibility to increase the student mobility between these universities.
