
Celaya, Gto., March 17, 2015.- The seventh edition of the Latin American Marketing Congress that will occur from May 11th to 13th in Campus Celaya-Salvatierra from the University of Guanajuato (UG), is prepared by professors from the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences led by Dr. Emigdio Larios, together with an inter-institutional scientific committee, in which national and international universities participate.
This program occurs annually and countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Paraguay have collaborated. This year is up to the participation of Mexico through UG, with the collaboration of Dr. Mario de Jesús Aguilar as Executive Coordinator, Dr. José Enrique Luna as Coordinator of Planning and as General Coordinator, Dr. Emigdio Larios.
The Congress has the objective to promote a regionalized marketing model for Latin America, without adapting models from other countries such as US, Europe and Asia. Among the topics, we can find semiology, psychology, sociology, anthropology of consumption, consumer behavior and neuroscience applied to marketing.
Dr. Emigdio Larios in press conference, highlighted the name of some specialists who expect to have participation within the Congress as Dr. José Paris, "who is professor in several universities, researcher, consultant and author of more than a dozen of books in marketing focused to Pymes, international businesses, brands, segments, and positioning, among other topics."
He also confirmed the assistance of Antonio Giuliani as a speaker and whose trajectory has 25 years of professional experience, consultant, author of different books and coordinator of a master in applied management to marketing; Joel Vilcapoma will talk about neuro-marketing, research line that works in the master of organizational psychology in the "Pontificia Universidad Católica de Perú".
In this VII Congress of Latin American Marketing, the main topic is "Updates and Trends," they pretend to analyze the latest theoretical developments, new methodologies and applications for businesses and Latin American projects through conference and work expos. They expect an attendance of approximately 400 people, from which at least 200 will be professors and students from foreign universities.
