Guanajuato, Gto., March 20, 2016.- Cyclist and student of the Physical Activity and Health Sciences degree from the University of Guanajuato (UG), Jaime Miranda Jaime, is an example of perseverance to achieve goals he proposes.
With more than eleven years or practicing cycling, Miranda Jaime has a vast trajectory and every year he participates in thirty of forty competitions around the country; among them, he has nine national Olympics, regional, state, national and international tournaments, and everywhere he gives his best effort to achieve great results.
He explained that the great support from UG is that they have always opened the doors for him, but above all, he is thankful for the acquired knowledge, the opportunities for a student and in his major "CAFIS" which relates to sports.
"If you enjoy what you do, it is never going to be complicated; it removes weight and difficulty, at the beginning it is always difficult when you enter university, since you go from being a teenager to being a person with responsibilities, but the most important is set goals to accomplish" commented the student.
Cyclist Miranda Jaime added that all you proposed has to be done by yourself and not to satisfy other people; if you do so, you will attain success.
"Success really consists in improving one-self, keep doing what you like, if you don't like it, stop doing it, seek what you really enjoy doing and look for it; there is always something that motivates you to give the 100% and be better every day" was the message he sent to all the university community.
To finalize, Jaime Miranda talked about his training places being his favorite the pathway in Cerro de la Bufa, currently he lives in Leon where he trains in the adaptation to his environment and the tools he has in reach.
