Guanajuato, Gto., a 09 de abril de 2016.- Students from the University of Guanajuato (UG), obtained the first place in the Third National Contest of Oral Trial 2016, in which experienced and previous winner teams from different parts throughout the country participated.

The advisor of the Oral Litigation team from UG, Juan Carlos Páramo, assured that the competence turned out a great challenge, but satisfactorily overcome, thanks to the technical and academic knowledge that continue to develop in the team.

The team is composed by Dulce Dávila; Gustavo Rodríguez; Rafael Arellano; and Zuriisadarai Gúzman Pérez; students from the Department of Law from the Division of Law, Politics and Government from UG's Campus Guanajuato.

The competence took place in the venue of the "Poder Judicial del Estado de Monterrery" and for four days of hard competence, the team from the University of Guanajuato faced other teams with a high competitive level, who had experienced advisors, which represented a challenge.

The final, was made in the Litigation Room of the Open School Of Law, where ten teams from the state of Coahuila, Monterrey and Guanajuato participated.

The teams were qualified by the "Poder Judicial" and the United States Consulate, checking every detail of the participant's intervention. UG's team earned the first place for their development in academic knowledge about the topic and the technical development.

The oral litigation team from UG, since its beginnings has proven the capability and growth throughout several competences that have won be that in state, national or international contests.

This type of competitions offers the participants to raise their knowledge on the topic, providing high level tools, which will benefit the student personally, professionally and academically and at the same time represent a benefit for society, which will be supported by the graduates of this House of Studies.
