Guanajuato, Gto., April 13, 2016.- With the objective to explain the project "Espiral" to municipal authorities from Guanajuato, the students from the University of Guanajuato (UG) who lead this initiative, presented the program of the seventh edition of the University Cultural Festival.

"Espiral" University Cultural Forum will occur from May 3rd to 14th in the present year. Its main purpose is to encourage the development of cultural and artistic activities among UG students.

The General Rector from the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino said that the university authorities are committed in making an accompanying labor with students during the development of projects like this one, because they represent a link opportunity with society.

During the encounter, the General Coordinator, Ángel Rodríguez Gómez commented that "Espiral" originated within a natural process among friends from University. He also explained that the liaison between student communities from diverse institutions, enrich the development and work done in this project.

He highlighted that in this seventh edition, they will have the participation of approximately fifteen rock bands from high schools and colleges of the maximum house of Studies in the state and commented that this festival is an important step to stimulate the youth to show their talent.

On behalf of the Municipal President of Guanajuato, Lic. Edgar Castro Cerrillo congratulated the youth who make this project possible and recognized the support given from UG for the making of this event.

He also expressed his interest to join this initiative that brings great benefits for society, and reiterated that they have all the support and confidence, because the youth is a key piece to generate a joint vision between college men and society.

At the reunion was also present the City Hall Secretary, Dr. Carlos Torres Ramírez, and participant youth in the forum.
