During the days 13, 14 y 15 of April the program of the Nutrition degree from Campus Celaya-Salvatierra was evaluated.

Celaya, Gto., April 16, 2016.- The educational program of the Clinical Nutrition degree, from the Division of Health Science and Engineering of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra from the University of Guanajuato (UG), received an in-situ visit to evaluate their work from the Interinstitutional Committee for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES, for its acronym in Spanish).

During the protocol act, the Rector of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, Dr. Ma. Guadalupe Ojeda Vargas, thanked the evaluating peers for their visit and work done. She also thanked professors, students and personnel from the Division of Health Science and Engineering for their effort and dedication to submit to the evaluation works and concluded her message with the phrase: "who doesn't try himself, doesn't improve".

In such activity were present Dr. Silvia del Carmen Delgado Sandoval, Academic Secretary of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, M. Ana María Padilla Aguirre, Director of the Division of Health Science and Engineering, as well as the coordinator of the educational program, M. Mariana González Salas.

The evaluators during this process will be M. Juana Patricia Acuña Lara from the "Universidad Autónoma del Carmen"; Lic. Carolina Arroyo Solórzano from the "Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes"; and M. Itzia Carmina Salazar Quiñones, from the "Universidad de Guadalajara".

In her intervention, M. Itzia Carmina Salazar expressed his gratitude for the University of Guanajuato for the invitation, and explained that the intention is to observe and verify the progress through the program, "we expect to make our job the best possible", she remarked.

During the accreditation process, there will be interviews with the students, teaching staff and personnel from support areas. Furthermore, there will be a tour by the facilities (inside and outside), interviews with the graduates and employers, among other activities.

For their part, students who attended coincided that it is important to know about the visits from experts to recognize the work from the professors who day by day they strive to make quality work; furthermore, witnessed the exhibit of a video from the challenges the campus Celaya-Salvatierra faces.
