Wisconsin, US., April 28, 2016.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) continues working to from generations of young leaders in comprehensive health who are capable of tackling the local and global inequalities through collaborative research and innovation.

So university authorities, led by UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, visited the Medical College of Wisconsin and its Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin in the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Guerrero Agripino highlighted that health, and education constitutes the base for the comprehensive development of people, same that through the liaison between institutions, potentiates the results for the social benefit.

The Medical College of Wisconsin is a nationally renowned institution for their quality and vanguard of their education, research and experience in health subjects. Currently, they have an enrollment of more than 15,000 students.

During their visit, authorities from the American university shared the research model and liaison in emergencies, oncology, pediatrics, hospital management; resource funds raising, among other areas that distinguish this institution.

At the visit were also present the Rector of Campus León, Dr. Carlos Hidalgo Valdez; and the Director of Academic Cooperation, Dr. Sergio Antonio Silva Muñoz.
