Guanajuato, Gto., April 28, 2016.- During the inauguration of the encounter GMUN2016, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, Rector of Campus Guanajuato, was convinced that the participation of the youth is an essential factor for the solution of problems in the world, so he congratulated the initiative from the group of students who summoned such important reunion.

It is worth remembering that the initiative of the "First Model of the United Nations for the state of Guanajuato 2016," summoned students from high and higher education from public and private institutions to analyze and debate the topics through a replica of work and activities that develop at UN.

These works develop since this Thursday 28 to 30 in the Magnus spaces from the Division of Economic and Administrative Sciences of Campus Guanajuato and will dissert on the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Social and Economic Council (ECOSOC), the American States Organization (ASO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Commission of Disarm and International Security (DISEC) and the committee of Human Rights.

In this sense, Dr. Javier Corona Fernandez manifested his pride because the University of Guanajuato is the host of an event of this nature, because the reasons to be of an institution are its students, and it is important to back their initiatives, interests and uneasiness.

"When a group of young promoter students presented for the first time, enthusiast young students who focused on the design, the objectives, the management" of this event, he said, Campus Guanajuato backed the organization of this initiative from our students, because the topics of economy, education, security. Health, disarm and Human rights, are aspects we all know as urgent to attend and mechanisms to apply complete actions must be designed."

On his part, M. Mauricio Alejandro Murillo de la Rosa, Attorney General of UG, representing Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, General Rector of the University of Guanajuato, emphasized the importance of dialogue and know how that because the initiative of this youth is happening, not only for UG but for society itself, "the exercise of listening, to understand each other, to have empathy for the other and perceive the world, and summing up, the agreement between men and women."

Furthermore, present at the opening ceremony were: Lic. Jorge Alberto Romero Vázquez, Director of "Guanajoven", Ing. Jorge Enrique Hernández Meza, Director of Educafín; Ricardo Narváez, Particular Secretary of the State Governor; Itzel Vianey Casillas, GMUN's General Secretary & Diego Hernández Huerta, GMUN's General Secretary, who started the works.
