Mariela Sánchez, from Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, could continue his studies in such country and obtain the double degree.

Celaya, Gto., April 29, 2016.- Mariela Sánchez Nuñez, student of the degree in Administration in Campus Celaya-Salvatierra of the University of Guanajuato (UG) was one of the winners from the summon "Road to Japan", launched by the government of the state of Guanajuato, through the "Instituto de Financiamiento e Información para la Educación (EDUCAFIN)."

Mariela, who currently is taking the second semester of the degree, is a member of the University Council and, with an average of 9.5, she is an excellent student. When she was notified of the result from the summon, she was mentioned, from the University of Guanajuato, that the institution has an agreement with a Japanese university, in which she could continue her studies and obtain her double degree.

The UG student was one of the 26 selected to attend a 10-day visit in which they will focus on knowing the culture and way of living within the Nippon community. The summon was issued last February, and it was open for youth between 17 and 19 years old in all the universities from the state of Guanajuato.

Regarding her next trip to the oriental country, she refers: "My professors in administration have oriented me, especially, to watch the social-economic characteristics, as well as the cultural features" she explained.

She expressed her excitement for being a winner in the summon, and invited her partners to know the opportunities the youth are given from both the University of Guanajuato as the state government: "I want to say to my peers that we have to believe in ourselves, I was a very insecure girl and now with this opportunity; I believe in me a lot; it is important we know these summons. We can be good in some areas, may that be by average, leadership, social labor; we all can be good and have a quality."

Finally, Mariela Sánchez thanked the support received from the University of Guanajuato and the Rectory of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra.
