Guanajuato, Gto., May 3, 2016.- With the purpose to get close the culture to children, the Symphonic Orchestra of the University of Guanajuato (OSUG) will offer a didactic concert named "Fantastic Anniversary" on May 4th at 10 in the morning at the "Teatro Principal" from the City of Guanajuato.

As part of the 64th anniversary festivities, OSUG will play his music for five schools in the city of Guanajuato and 3 for the city of León, in first place they will play "The Berlioz's Fantastic Symphony", which will fuse with the extract of the violin concert no. 1 in G minor of Max BRUCH, in command of the violinist Marina Meerson.

In a press conference, OSUG's Director, M. Roberto Antonio Beltrán Zavala highlighted that for this presentation, they chose the standard repertoire and adapt it to get it close for children, since it is a form to stimulate and develop creativity in the public.

This presentation will have the participation of the narrator and scene producer, César Piña, who will be the guide of the attendees and will explain the musical works with the support of two dancers. He mentioned that he works with the objective that all families approach the symphonic music, likewise, so they can know that all works have a reason to be.

On her behalf, the violinist Marin Meerson said to be excited for being in Guanajuato, since it has been a grateful experience to work for the orchestra, because she feels a great energy and joy from its members.

Furthermore, M. Beltrán Zavala gave an award in the name of the University of Guanajuato (UG) to José Tadeo López Vargas, for obtaining the first place in the "Contest of the Berlioz's Fantastic Symphony" from the Children's workshop of Plastic Arts from the Direction of Cultural Extension from UG whose responsible was Ma. De los Ángeles Muñoz.

It is worth mentioning that the winning painting will be the illustration in the hand programs of tomorrow's concert. In the same way, they delivered a CD of OSUG, a book with images of Alfredo Dugés and two courtesy tickets to assist the concerts of the Orchestra in the Teatro Principal throughout 2016.

OSUG's General Manager, M. Patricia Bella Arroyo Solís, mentioned that in tomorrow's concert there will be an expo with the paintings from all the participants in this contest.

Finally, OSUG's Director used the time to invite the public to attend the Orchestra's 64th anniversary fest with the gala concert, which will be done next Friday May 6th at 20:00 hrs., at Teatro Juárez.
