
Guanajuato, Gto. May 8, 20176.- With the Teatro Juárez as a witness, the eighth edition of the Cultural Night of the Division of Law, Politics and Government (DDPG), with a talent show of music, singing, dance and poetry.
In it, participated students from diverse division of Campus Guanajuato and High Schools. This event was organized by the students belonging to University Forums from DDPG.
It is worth to mention that in previous editions, they presented in the Teatro Principal, however, for the demand and success of the event, the Eighth Edition of the Cultural Night from DDPG, presented in Teatro Juárez in the city of Guanajuato, renowned as the enclosure of great spectacles in the state.
During this cultural night, the students were accompanied by UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino who congratulated the students for their great talent.
The students, using the words of the Argentinian composer and singer, Mercedes Sosa, said that "Culture is the only thing that can save a town, because culture lets misery out in the open and fight it..."
They assured to have the obligation to fight the illness that haunts society, and said that for that, it is not enough to be simple students that go to class and present exams, but, must be worried youth to have a comprehensive formation.
They added that these spaces are open to culture and contribute so the future political scientists, public managers and lawyers graduate from UG, to be true professionals, agents of change who see the world in diverse manner and propose solutions in pro of society.
With acts of great interpretation, the students who participated received a gift and a recognition from the Division of Law, Politics and Government of Campus Guanajuato from the University of Guanajuato and University Forums.
During the night, the students were accompanied by the DDPG's Director, Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta Barrera; the Director of Student Development, M. José Osvaldo Chávez Rodríguez; among other university authorities.
