Guanajuato, Gto., May 5, 2016. In the Magnus spaces of the Rectory of Campus Guanajuato, took place the 3rd University Journey of Professional Development, event organized by the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA), with the objective to be a converging point between businesses and demanding institutions of qualified talent and undergraduate youth and graduates searching for an opportunity of employment, professional practice or professional social service.

In the opening message, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, Rector of Campus Guanajuato, thanked the participation of more than 30 businesses gathered and recognized the work that DCEA makes every day to follow up the needs from its graduates. In addition, he highlighted the good preparation the division has with the students, hence; they are widely accepted on the labor market: "For their professional profile, the graduates from this division have always been received with please by businesses. The fact that they have accepted the invitation (all the businesses present) shows the impact our graduates have in these productive branches" he said.

On her part, Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López, Director of the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences, highlighted the advantages of having one space for many interested businesses in talent, and the capabilities of the students and graduates of the University of Guanajuato. This liaison, he said, is necessary to know what can the graduates expect in their future, because "as long as we don't know what the businesses need and what we need from them, we cannot achieve a full approach." Likewise, he thanked the joint work to carry this third edition of this event that, for its crescent success, has set a precedent.

A total of thirty-five businesses from the automotive, food, tourism, pharmacy, among other sectors, they got in touch, through the informative stands, with dozens of young college students from Campus Guanajuato and Campus Irapuato-Salamanca in search of employment or a space to make their professional social service. Besides, as part of the Journey, they offered two conferences: "Protocol of Professional Image" and "Competencies demanded by the labor sector."

The opening ceremony was presided by Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, Rector of Campus Guanajuato; Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López, Director of the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences and M. Velino Esteves Jiménez, Academic Secretary of the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences.
