Irapuato, Gto., May 9, 2016.- A formation with criteria of efficiency, scientific rigor and maximum professional level, is what the University of Guanajuato provides to the students that course the specialty of Nursing in Intensive Care in Campus Irapuato-Salamanca.

From this specialty graduated 10 students, who incorporate health institutions to apply the process of attention to nursing in a comprehensive manner.

The duration of the specialty is five terms, in which they cover subjects such as pediatric nursing, handling of intensive care patients, anatomies and physiologies, and development of applied research among other subjects, informed the coordinator of the program, M. Martha Hilda Gutiérrez Oliver.

During the end-course ceremony held at the Division of Life Sciences, university authorities encourage them to continue advancing in their life goals and thanked the families for providing them support in all possible ways.

The Rector of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, Dr. Ernesto Camarena Aguilar, pointed out that the care of the critical patient is, surely, the distinction that best represents the dimension and deepness of the task of care to what so many professionals dedicate their life and efforts every day.

In the name of the graduates, the student Edgar Obed Martínez González, said to be very engaged because society trusts them to take care of their loved ones.

"I would like to thank our alma mater for opening its door to us and allow us to develop in all senses, not only believe in the professional ambience, but in the human and in the intellectual, because, by forging us with their values, principles and allow us to see the world with other eyes" expressed Edgar Martínez.

The end-course ceremony was presided by the Rector of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, Dr. Ernesto Camarena Aguilar; by the Director of the Division of Life Sciences, Dr. Eduardo Salazar Solís; by the Academic Secretary of DICIVA, Dr. César Gutierrez Vaca; by the Director of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, M. María Leticia Campos Zermeño; by the L.E.O Verónica Esparza Vázquez, representative of the professional nurses and by the coordinator of the specialty, M. Martha Hilda Gutiérrez Oliver.
