Guanajuato, Gto., May 9, 2016. A class-course and three Master speakers are the activities that will carry on the Class José Revueltas of Literature and Philosophy, from the Division of Social Science and Human Studies; next May 11 to 13, in which the event will address literature, literary theory, and Hispanic-American textual criticism from the point of view of three prestige scholars.

Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12, from 16:00 to 19:00, it will occur the class-course "Hispanic-American literary thinking: from narrative crisis to fragment", taught by Dr. Norma Angélica Cuevas Velasco, scholar from the "Universidad Veracruzana."

Friday May 13th, at 12:00, there will be place for a master session of the "Seminar of the Class José Revueltas", which will gather three guest speakers: Dr. Porfirio Mamani Macedo, scholar from Paris-Sorbonne University, with the talk "The writer and the society"; Dr. Carlomagno Sol Tlachi, from the "Universidad Veracruzana", which will address the topic "Textual criticism"; and Dr. Norma Angélica Cuevas Velasco, also from the "Universidad Veracruzana", who will dissert on the "Theoretical though in the Hispanic-American literature."

Both activities will have place in the Auditorium Ernesto Scheffler from DCSH (located in the ex-convent of Valenciana) and will be open for students, scholarship holders of the class, professors, and public.

About the speakers

Dr. Porfirio Mamani Macedo. Poet and writer born in Arequipa (Peru) in 1963. Doctor in Letters of the Sorbonne University; graduated as a lawyer from the "Universidad Católica de Santa María". Has published poems and stories in several magazines in Europe, United States, Canada and Latin America.

Dr. Carlomagno Sol Tlachi. Master in Mexican Literature by the Universidad Veracruzana and Doctor in Letters by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Researcher at the Institute of Linguistic-Literary research of the Universidad Veracruzana, under the theme "Philological studies of poetry and Mexican novel."

Dr. Norma Angélica Cuevas Velasco. Doctor in Literature with emphasis in the line of Literary Theory by UAM-Iztapala. She is a full time researcher in the Institute of Linguistic-Literary Research from the Universidad Veracruzana. Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), Level I.
