Guanajuato, Gto., May 11, 2016.- High School students from the University of Guanajuato (UG) participated in the XVIII edition of the State Contest of Basic Science, organized by the "Instituto Tecnológico de León", where they made tests of physics and math and obtained the first four places.

The contest was held in the facilities of the "Instituto Tecnológico de León" and hosted 400 youth from all High School subsystems in the state of Guanajuato.

Irwin Enrique Villalobos from High School Pénjamo obtained the first place; José Castro Murillo from HS Guanajuato the second place; Jesús Daniel Bello Ramírez from HS Centro Histórico León the third place; and the fourth place to Oswaldo Daniel Reyes Sánchez from HS Silao.

The advisors that went with the students were Jesus Raúl Lugo Martínez from HS Pénjamo, Beatriz Eugenia Campos Rubio from HS Guanajuato, as well as Paulo Cesar García Quijas, Miguel Ángle Ruiz Torres, Diego Armando Nicasio Tovar from HS Centro Histórico León and Francisco Sánchez Ibarra from HS Guanajuato.

One more time, the students from UG's High School manage to place themselves within the best in these competitions and raise their alma mater.
