
Guanajuato, Gto., May 15, 2016.- With a concert that addressed the social problem of the "frontiers" ended the seventh edition of Espiral University Forum in the city of Guanajuato.
"Project AMP" was the artistic collective which led the closing event with a multidisciplinary musical show focused in seeking solutions to diverse problems in the country, in this case, the immigrants.
The General Rector of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, representing the university community, went to the concert to reaffirm the support with the students who make all the organization.
On his behalf, the General Director of the Espiral University Forum, Ángel Eduardo Rodríguez Gómez, called the students to develop their ideas, proposals and creations so the spiral continues to spin in the next edition.
Using music to make the audience aware, the collective presented the disc titled "Frontier", whose main topic was the migratory conflict between Mexico and United States. The production was made with the firm conviction of granting support to the institutions that address immigrants located in the state of Guanajuato.
Espiral University Forum closed its activities in the Teatro Juárez, enclosure in which several bands from different genres such as rock, ska, jazz, among others. The attendees enjoyed the musical ensemble "Icarus", who with a special sound, that can go from sweet to melancholic reflected the reality of the Latin people, shuddering the audience.
They also pleased with a musical proposal from the mezzosoprano Zayra Ruíz; the singer, composer, artisan and illustrator Julieta Soto and the Hip Hop singer "Forastero 507". All of them are part of the disc "Frontier", reason why they demonstrated the social commitment through music and diverse expressions they do.
It is worth mentioning that "Frontier" is an initiative that through music and profits from sales of the discographic production, they pretend to donate it to improve the quality of life of Mexican immigrants. Espiral University Forum fare welled the city of Guanajuato to continue with their program in León.
It is worth mentioning the Espiral has the mission to be a space destined to exposition and diffusion of artistic and cultural activities coming from students, scholars, professors, administrative and members of the University of Guanajuato and society. All with the mean to rescue and promote the cultural values, as well as to strengthen the labor of the student in their common environment as a responsible, conscious and creative being.
