Guanajuato, Gto., May 14, 2016.- The Mexican Male Basketball Team will seek in the next days, its pass for the Olympic games Rio 2016, and reinforces with Jonathan Ricardo Villegas Flores, currently coach of the Female Basketball Team from the University of Guanajuato (UG).
With more than seven years of experience in the professional level, coach Villegas Flores, is part of the technical staff after that Sergio Valdeolmillos, coach of the Mexican Basketball Team, called him for the second time.
For the coach of the Female Basketball Team from UG, it is a great pride to represent the Maximum House of Studies and Mexico, in this struggle to be one of the best 12 teams in the world who would compete for a gold medal in the Olympic games.
Mexico will be one of the 15 teams that will have an opportunity from July 4th to 9th in Turin, Italy, where they will compete against the teams of Greece and Iran, seeking to reach the first place that will allow them to access the Olympic contest.
Last year he was an assistant in the technical staff in the Basketball team "Abejas UG" and head coach of the Female basketball team "Mieleras", "professional female team that has a lot of support from the University of Guanajuato and thanks to that, they see me and invite to be a part of the technical staff in the National Team" he pointed out.
Enriching his sport knowledge is what Jonathan Ricardo Villegas will win while running with international players and coaches, same that he will share with the University of Guanajuato with the finality to contribute in improving the co0llege athletes.
In his 30's he sends the message strong and founded in dedicated work; the youth deserve the opportunity de prove the wish to overcome and can acquire excellent results.
"Never look at yourselves defeated, they are always going to tell you that you can't, you're too young, or you don't know; but don't listen, keep fighting for your dreams everyday" expressed the coach of the Female Basketball team from UG for the youth.
Finally, Villegas Flores requested the university community and the passionate about basketball in all the Mexican Republic, to encourage the National Basketball Team, that foresees will be in the Olympic games in Rio 2016.
