Guanajuato, Guanajuato, May 14, 2016. With the presence of two specialists in the Spanish-American literature: Dr. Norma Angélica Cuevas Velasco, professor and researcher in the "Universidad Veracruzana" and Dr. Porfirio Mamani Macedo, scholar from the Paris-Sorbonne University, there was the magister session of the "Seminar of the Class José Revueltas", who exposed the dialogue between philosophy and literature, and the figure of the writer in society, respectively.

In the Auditorium Ernesto Scheffler from the venue Valenciana, Dr. Norma Angélica Cuevas Velasco, addressing the "Theoretical thought in the Spanish-American literature", highlighted the communication liaison between literature and philosophy, arguing that the notion of literature cannot be limited to what we understand as fiction, since literature bumps with philosophy and even science. It means, there is no combat nor opposition among the diverse speeches, be argument, expositive or fictional, but cohabitation and dialogue; because through language coexists philosophy and literature.

Highlighted also the importance of understanding and addressing the literary theory or philosophy of literature, the phenomenon of writing and its own space, from our Spanish-American literature, for what the Latin American writers exposed that cultivate in a time the literature and philosophy: Ricardo Piglia, Julio Torri, Macedonio Fernández, Salvador Elizondo, among others that have brought so much to theoretical thought on own creation.

Writing as a necessity

On his part, Dr. Porfirio Mamani Macedo, Peruvian poet, exposed from his perspective the topic "The writer and society", a link that establishes in ancient times, since the writer, he said, has always been considered a guide, a conscience, and a defender of the understanding of men through the powerful weapon literature is. He expressed that above all, Latin American literature has intensely debated about the social commitment of the writer as a complaint voice before injustice, the colonialism, the social exclusion, among many other problems. To sum up, he said, this figure is still necessary and pertinent for the construction of social peace.

Dr. Elba Margarita Sánchez Rolón, responsible of the Class José Revueltas, highlighted the importance of these sessions as outsider guests to "tend bridges between the different area works, research and creation, that allow to broaden the horizons of what the work groups is from the Class José Revueltas".
