Guanajuato, Gto., May 18, 2016.- The interdisciplinary effort between different instances has turned in an important detonator to address the big problems that haunt society, among them, health.

Therefore, the University of Guanajuato (UG) reaffirms its commitment to contribute onwards the optimization of the resources to advert the needs of health, which is a transcendental category for human development.

Representing the university community, UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino signed a collaboration agreement between the Maximum House of Studies and the "Instituto de Salúd Pública del Estado de Guanajuato" (INAPEG).

The signing of this agreement offers the possibility to train the student community so they can provide timely and quality attention; furthermore, it exemplifies as the participation of the academy as a fundamental component in promoting a culture of prevention.

It is important to mention that this collaboration represents an area of opportunity for the research lines made in the institution, since it favors the formation and practice of the students in the clinical fields.

INAPEG's General Director, Dr. Francisco Ignacio Ortíz Aldana, expressed that the joint effort allows to fulfill the furthest objectives, hence, the academic competencies contribute to the recognition of the demand in matters of health.

At the signing of these agreement, from UG participated the Secretary of Management and Development, M. Jorge Alberto Romero Hidalgo; the Rector of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, Dr. Ma. Guadalupe Ojeda Vargas; the Rector of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, Dr. Ernesto Alfredo Camarena Aguilar; the Rector of Campus León, Dr. Carlos Hidalgo Valadez; Director of Health Sciences and Engineering from Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, M. Ana María Padilla Aguirre; the Director of the Division of Life Sciences from Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, Dr. Eduardo Salazar Solís; the Director of the Division of Health Sciences from Campus Leon, Dr. Tonatiuh García Campos.

From ISAPEG's delegation signed the General Coordinator of Public health, Dr. Moisés Andrade Quezada; the General Director of Health Services, Dr. Armando Pérez Cabrera; Director of Teaching and Research, Dr. Efraín Navarro Olivos.
