León, Gto., May 18, 2016.- With the purpose to promote respect, freedom and dignity of people through the recognition of the human rights and sexual diversity, the photo show "Diversidad Sexual" was inaugurated in Campus León from the University of Guanajuato (UG).

The show has the motto "Que mi mente no descanse si de amar se trata" (if it is about love, don't let my mind rest) and has 17 photos, chosen through a contest where 77 works contested from artists, not only from Mexico, but from Spain and Brazil as well.

The expo organized by the students from the Divisions of Health Sciences and Social Sciences and Human Studies, the Permanent Committee of Art and "Provocarte" Collective, will remain until May 20th in the venue Forum from Campus León.

One of the participants is Luis Andrés Medina Rangel, student from the fourth semester of the degree in Culture and Art, who with his photo titled "Side B" portrays the hidden facet of what people think from several topics and "sexual diversity is something that must be freely expressed" he sustained.

On her behalf, M. Carlota Laura Meneses, professor of the Department of Cultural Studies, issued a message in which she manifested her satisfaction for the collaboration of everyone who made the phot show possible and invited all the students from the three division from Campus León to continue working together to offer spaces for culture and art.

The Ribbon cut was in charge of M. Meneses together with Judith Bermúdez, representative of the Permanent Committee of Art and Culture of the Student Council from Medical Exterior Relations from the University of Guanajuato.
