
Guanajuato, Gto., May 20, 2016.- From May 23 to 25, it will occur the XXX Annual Reunion of the Division of Particles and Fields 2016, which has the community interested in the matter.
Professors and students from the University of Guanajuato (UG) will be part of this event, in which researchers, students and professors from diverse parts of the country will participate.
This reunion –of annual periodicity—gathers the interested community to present recent results and discuss on the progress in the area. It is also an opportunity for the postgraduate students and young researchers, to expose their work and enrich them.
The President of the Division of Particles and Fields of the Mexican Society of Physics (DPyC-SMF), Dr. Mauro Napsuciale Mendivil, who is also a professor a researcher in the Department of Physics at UG highlights that great part of the community of researchers who belong to this Division come the Maximum House of Studies.
The activities will consist in short oral contributions and some talks about the important topics in the area today, 3 of them in charge of professors and researches from the Department of Physics at UG: Dr. Gustavo Niz, Dr. Juan Barranco and Dr. Alberto Diez.
The Division founded in 1986 to encourage this specialty in Mexico and promote, organize and support the academic activities aimed for the development of this field.
DPyC is composed by members of the SMF who are interested in the physics of elementary particles and theory of fields and during the encounter, they'll have the opportunity to present a wide perspective of the state of the specialty, as well to promote the interaction among the members of the Division.
