Guanajuato, Gto., a 20 de mayo de 2016.- The Collective named "Puerta a Puerta" (Door to Door) formed by students if the degree in Performing Arts from the University of Guanajuato in collaboration with the Direction of Cultural Extension, organize the first edition of the "Dance Contest of the degree in Performing Arts."

This pageant is made through a summon in which students from the degree in arts to participate, from several semesters, that have the specialty in dance.

Next June 9 in the "Teatro Principal", will be the final of the pageant in which the choreographs will be presented by the students, this event is promoted by the student Lorena Maving, who also works as a director from the project.

The attendees to the final will enjoy of pieces completely unedited, created by young enthusiasts from dance, same that will get several topics and strategies of creation as for movement refers.

The winners will be chosen by a specialized jury, the members of the jury grant a resolution of the first place who will grant an economic stimulation of $8,000.00 MXN pesos, as well as a diploma and a trophy.

On the other hand, the second place will receive $6,000.00 MXN pesos and also, a diploma and a trophy. Likewise, there will be a special prize for $2,000 MXN pesos for the best male or female interpreter.

It is precise to mention that "Door to Door" is a collective that performs actions to boost and promote the art of dance in the university community and also through distinct presentation in the society in general.
