Celaya, Gto., May 24, 2016.- In Campus Celaya-Salvatierra began the celebrations for the Day of the Student, hence, throughout the week there will be different activities, among them, conferences, work out routines, rallies, jazz, rock and electronic music concerts; races, karaoke and kermes. The events will conclude with a concert of Moenia in the Park "Guanajuato Bicentenario", next Thursday at 20:00 hrs.

The activities began with the conference "Myths and legends," in which Dr. Enriqe Ferro elaborated a compilation of the most frequent tales in the region Laja-Bajío; another topic given in the first day of activities was "Projection of image", where the psychologist Fátima Morelos showed the students techniques for a better presentation in the professional development.

In the venue Mutualismo was presented the conference "Transgenic food" and "Social entrepreneurism", while in Salvatierra organized the kilometer of books.

In the opening ceremony, M. Ana María Padilla Aguirre invited the youth to live their student stage to the maximum since "it is an unforgettable stage" and to conclude her message she congratulated the CPA Cecilia González, who leads CIDIE, for the organization of the events in the three venues that comprehend Campus Celaya-Salvatierra.

Representing the student community, José Rangel said that "we must give say thank you because the university gives us the opportunity to study and reach a higher level", since data from the world organization Save the children, in the state of Guanajuato, the average education is 8 years of study, meaning until the second grade in middle school.

To conclude the act, Dr. Ma. Guadalupe Ojeda Vargas, Rector of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra highlighted the important role of the students and mentioned that they expect to have a multitudinous coexistence, "to share the music from this time and coexist with the young students". Finally, she joined the message of zero alcohol, mentioning that the university students don't need it to have fun.
