Guanajuato, Gto., May 24, 2016.- Miguel Ángel Cuevas Rodríguez, student from the fourth semester of the degree in International Trade of the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA) from the University of Guanajuato (UG) starts projects to care for the environment.

As part of his personal and professional development, Miguel Ángel founded "Green Tire Mexico", an initiative that pretends the ecological care of the environment. This projects seeks to rehabilitate properties by implementing roofs and green walls, sustainable furniture and the management of hydroponic systems.

He currently is developing this proposal within DCEA, where they make the rehabilitation of the library's terrace with the development of ecological structures based on reused materials, as well as the management of orchards in the Laboratory of Food and Drink "Pilar Arango."

Likewise, Miguel Ángel collaborates with the R.I.A.C. Foundation, which is an initiative of students from the degree in Industrial Relationships from DCEA from UG, this foundation has the purpose to go to the communities and negotiates projects to make them economically sustainable.

In an interview, UG student highlights that "many of the projects he has made are thanks to the support from the University of Guanajuato and these are a way to reattribute what society gives us" and assures that the little actions can generate great changes that generate awareness among the university community.

Miguel Ángel Cuevas will travel to France to the Institute of Socio-Economics of Businesses and Organizations (ISESOR) where he will present a talk called "The social responsibility of organizations and higher education institutions", result from the acceptance of the article who participated as co-author "Environmental culture of the community from the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences, university of Guanajuato."

Besides, this same institute invited him to assist the course of Social-Economic management of Businesses and Organizations, which will potentiate his skills and abilities.

It is important to mention that Miguel Ángel is Coordinator of the program "Global entrepreneur" in the area of Incoming Professional Exchanges in the Non-governmental organization AIESEC in Guanajuato and obtained the 2nd place in the contest of Entrepreneurs DCEA 2015 "Activate your ideas."
