Guanajuato, Gto., May 25, 2016.- With quality and ethics, the Laboratory of Microbiology and Clinical Pathology of the University of Guanajuato (UG) Campus León, offers services of sample taking and lab analysis to all the interested community.

The Medical Surgeon intern and collaborator of the Laboratory, Marcos Vinicius Sangrador Deitos, informed that this laboratory is a great support for sicety, since the analysis made have a lower cost and even free for people with small income.

Marcos Sangrador was an excellence student at UG, institution who supported him economically to make a 2-month residency in an Emergency Hospital in Granada, Spain.

Besides, it was one of the 25 students of the country that managed to be accepted by the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán to make his internship during 2015, afterwards he enriched his experience in the Children's Hospital Federico Gómez and the Hospital of the Woman.

Currently, Vinicius Sangrador collaborates in the Laboratory of Microbiology and Clinical Pathology from UG; place where in addition of tending the patients, they also make research on antiseptics and diverse substances, to determine which are the most efficient.

The Laboratory of Microbiology and Clinical Pathology is also a space where the students of the area of health sciences from UG enrich their knowledge through theory and practice.

Accessible services

The laboratory is staffed by specialized technicians and students from the House of Studies, and it is located in the St. 20 de Enero. The responsible is Dr. Alejandro Macías, who besides being in charge of the laboratory, offers his continuous support to students for their academic and personal improvement.
