Guanajuato, Gto., May 25, 2016. By signing a collaboration agreement, the University of Guanajuato joins efforts with the civil association Housing Cluster from the State of Guanajuato to encourage better housing solutions.

Attorney General from UG, M. Mauricio Alejandro Murillo de la Rosa exposed that the agreement-framework establishes the bases and operative mechanisms of collaboration between UG and Housing Cluster, considers the organization and development of programs, projects of research and studies; joint publications, as well as academic, technical and administrative advisory, among other actions.

On the matter, the General Rector of UG, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, said that the celebration of this agreement represents a great area of opportunity for the university community, since it allows to make contributions in diverse disciplines.

The intention –he said—is what is worked in the classrooms and laboratories at UG so it transcends society. Therefore, he expressed his total trust in what the printed text in the agreement is surpassed with actions.

On his part, the President of the Director Council of Housing Cluster of the State of Guanajuato, A.C., Architect David Felipe Luján Leal, explained that this association was born with the intention to improve the economic housing being built in the state and pretends to conjugate efforts from the members of the value chain.

He expressed his gratitude for UG's authorities for participating and sustained that in the organization he runs are convinces that the improvement and innovation part from academy. "We need to being processes and involve society to obtain results."

After signing the agreement, Director of Infrastructure and University Services from UG, M. Eloy Juárez Sandoval, explained in an interview that the intention of this alliance is to make Guanajuato become a national referent in the development of better economic housing conditions.

He added that having adequate habitational spaces, represents a factor of family and social stability. Hence, the citizen association Housing Cluster leans on the academy to find solutions to the demand of worthy and economic housing.

In the event participated M. Jorge Alberto Romero Hidalgo, Secretary of Management and Development; M. Adrián Rafael Jiménez Guth, Director of Human Resources; Dr. Salvador Hernández Castro; Director of Liaison and Dr. J. Refugio Vallejo Gutiérrez, Director of the Department of Economy and Finance from the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences from Campus Guanajuato and collaborator of Housing Cluster.
