
Guanajuato, Gto., May 30, 2016. Through the forum "Cultural Perspective", in which a group of foreigners from Russia, Netherlands, Peru and Colombia exposed their vision of Mexico, and concluded the activities of "Mexico in a drop", project of students from HS Celaya with the purpose to promote and revalue the Mexican culture.
The forum began with the participation of Vera Konistratenko, Russian, who sustained that despite the cultural differences between Mexico and her country, above all, she respects the perception of death, food and coexistence with others, there are things in common.
"In Mexico I learned to value the food, now I know is not only essential to live, but also to socialize and enjoy life", said as an example of what she has learned by living in our country.
Johana Porras Morales, a Colombian attorney and student at the University of Guanajuato (UG) told that being in Mexico has given great life lessons, and has allowed her to identify the positive elements, such as the coverage in health services and the infrastructure of the country, but also the negative ones, as the growth of violence and citizen's apathy in fundamental subjects for the development of Mexico. Hence, she invited everyone to be positive and value the opportunities, at the same time she shared the reasons she had to nationalize ads Mexican and form a family here.
On his part, M. Dirk Jan Hendrik Lotgerink, who came from the Netherlands four years ago, said that the best thing about this country is its people and "there is no people who suffers nicer than the Mexican", said, in reference to the traditional music.
In her intervention, Dr. Gloria Miranda Zambrano, highlighted the importance of making this kind of forums, and above all, because they are an initiative "of a generation who is not betting for Mexico", in a way that it is encouraging to know that there are students in the University of Guanajuato that work to visualize the richness of the Mexican culture.
The expos closed with the participation of the M. Pilar Ayala Babativa, who left her natal Colombia because of violence, now Mexico is her home and her family's. The most important is to rescue the value of cultures, and work to preserve them, he considered.
The expositions of the speakers, splashed with stories and details of the experiences lived in Mexico, extended for more than two hours. At the conclusion, the estudiantina of the University of Guanajuato entertained the forum which had the Teatro Principal as a scenario.
At the event was present the Director of Student Development of UG, M. José Osvaldo Chávez Rodríguez, who highlighted the trust that the university authorities have in the initiatives of the students, so he reaffirmed the support of UG to this kind of projects.
In the same sense, the Director of the High School College, Q.F.B. Martha Oliva Gallaga Ortega, congratulated the youth who started this project, as well as the professor who accompanied them, M. José Antonio de la Vega.
Assisted also the Academic Secretary of the High School College, Dr. Jesús Raúl Lugo martínez; HS Celaya's Director, Lic. Antonio Procel Cabrera; professors, students and family of the students from the University of Guanajuato.
