Celaya, Gto. May 31, 2016.- With the intention to provide support to small and medium businesses that do not concrete the administrative processes due to the lack of resources, students and professors of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra from the University of Guanajuato (UG) offered professional support to a local business to make the analysis of the cost system.
On the matter, Adriana Campos, participating student in the project mentions "We work through nine months with the business and during that time we manage to detect deficiencies in their cost system, thanks to a diagnostic. The original idea is to focus in the financial part, however, at the end, it was a comprehensive support."
The professor of the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, Dr. Martha Ríos assured that the intervention from the students was made directly with the business and the students from the ninth semester applied their knowledge to support the local businesspeople.
On her part, student Ana López, member of the project said that "coming to a business and diving into their essence seeking for things that don't run well, makes anyone awkward, so we had to be very careful in what we did, always having our professional profile and leadership. Fortunately, as time passed there was a good answer, since our performance matched the objectives and time. At the end, the business and its personnel recognized the work and now are in a continuous improvement."
Equally, Martha Silvia and David Patiño, who belong to this team of collaborators highlighted that the project is a small contribution to society and said to be satisfied with the obtained accomplishments, since the businesses now have control and can establish strategies, action plans, etc. They affirmed that it is an experience that makes them feel proud of belonging to the Maximum House of Studies of the state.
it is important to mention that this work was accomplished thanks to the intervention of full-time professors, Dr. Martha Rios, Dr. Alejandra López and Dr. Celina López Mateo, who reaffirmed their commitment to continue contributing with society, and with the expectation of integrating other degrees in that labor.
