Guanajuato, Gto. June 1, 2016.- "I would ask myself how will the public prepare to listen the concert? because it will be necessary to break parameters", were the words of the Guest Director of the Symphonic Orchestra from the University of Guanajuato (OSUG), M. Lanfranco Marcelletti, when he was asked which will be the perception of the public, with the orchestra's next concert.
The concert will be presented in the Teatro Principal art 20:30hr. this Friday June 3rd, directed by M. Marcelletti, who will be accompanied by the violinist Francisco Fullana; with the program number 15: "The Postwar music: 1928-1938."
The first work that will present is "Esquinas" of Silvestre Revueltas, in its 1933 version which, in words of the author, describes "in reality what is listened is more the noise, or silence, the internal traffic of the souls I see go by me."
This work, mentions M. Lanfranco Marcelleti, is very agitated with some quiet moments, being the second movement much more gentle. He assured that it is a piece that will express a type of feelings related with the intention of the author: speak from the inner human.
The soloist of Violin Francisco Fullana –in his first visit to Mexico—explained, that the second piece to play is the "Concert for violin in D major" of Igor Stravinsky, which is a piece that employs a more lyric and focal structure of the voice, with a neoclassical influence, where the fourth time is the "el capricho" it is described as a great explosion, "as if the piece was reserved until the fourth movement" assured the soloist.
He added that this piece propitiates to play in the desired colors having a communication with the rest instruments, making duos or trios, with harmonies and weird combinations or not commonly used, such as the fagot and the violin, or only the metals with the violin, but the result is a precious melody, explained.
The concert will end with the premier in Guanajuato of the "Symphony No.3 in C minor, Op. 44" of Sergei Prokofiev which, in words of M. Lanfranco Marcelletti, is a piece that in its first movement "Moderato" is strong, as an explosion; the second movement "Andante", is described as an interesting movement, returns to the intention of the first; and the fourth movement "Andante mosso – Allegro moderato" lowers the fire, in a great way, he finalized.
It is important to precise that M. Lanfranco Marcelletti, is currently considered as one of the most dynamic of the dynamic and versatile Brazilian musicians. He has a sound formation acquired in the Conservatory "Pernambucano" (Recife, Brazil) in Yale University (as a disciple of the famous master Eleazar de Carvalho); in the School of Music and Scenic Arts of Vienne, where he studied piano and composition and in the Musik Akademie of Zurich, where he studied piano.
