Students contributed with concrete solutions to improve the school trajectory and the index of degree.

Guanajuato, Gto., June 1, 2016.- Within the framework of the Institutional Program ActuarUG that considers the normative reform, review and update to the Plan of Institutional Development, updating of the administrative support model, there was a participation forum with the student community.

With the purpose to analyze the referent to the school trajectory and the index of degrees, more than 100 students, members of the University General Council, from the university councils from the four campuses, from the divisional councils, from boards of directors and groups of organized students gathered.

The finality of this first forum of participation is to approach real cases that allow to know the problems that prevent the students to successfully conclude their study programs.

In this sense, the obtained results will allow to identify perspectives that enrich the review of the Plan if Institutional Development 2010-2020 and the current needs of the student community.

In this way, there will be visible-non-explored options that allow the student to be successful in his/her academic plan and, in consequence, in the life project.

Among the verted contribution by the students, stand out: reduce the requests and costs for multiple requirements included in the process of degree; give value to the projects that make during their academic trajectory which influence in obtaining a university title and the educative programs have the necessary tools to make a successful thesis project.

With these actions, the General Rectory from the University of Guanajuato reaffirms its commitment to listen its students and involve them in the transformation processes of the institution.
