
Celaya, Gto., June 2, 2016.- The students of first semester of the degree in Clinical Psychology of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra made the Symposium of Ethics and Bioethics, with the purpose to know the professional experiences and recognize the work of who practices this discipline.
Clinical psychologists Sara Salinas, recent graduated, Lic: Franchesca Estefania Galván and Lic. Margarita González Barrios attended and spoke about their professional trajectory and their experience in recruiting personnel, and attention to patients with a disability, among other topics.
They highlighted the application of the ethics in the work area as a fundamental pillar, and the application of bioethics in the conduct of the psychologist when working in the area of health.
Bioethics not only applies to the medical field, but also involves in the moral problems, that occur in the time of everyday life as the correct treatment with human beings, animals and environment.
"It's interesting to get out of the way to treat mental illnesses, we must understand that the patient is a human being that suffers and the clinical psychologists depend of the support networks of the family to be able to help", explained Sara Salinas, who makes clinical work in the city of Celaya.
Professor Susana Pérez Uribe, organizer of the Symposium of Ethics and Bioethics, explained the importance of organizing for the students in the first semesters conferences that nurture their formation "but above all to inform the experience of who already is in practice and help in the perspective of the student towards real life."
Student Lucrecia Martorell Parrales expressed: "I thought the feedback was very interesting, as we get closer to reality, bringing people to tell us their work experiences."
The degree in Clinical Psychology is one of the most requested in Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, and also seeks to form their students with a comprehensive view, "formation not only includes theory but knowledge of the reality in human behavior problems", finalized Prof. Pérez Uribe.
