Guanajuato, Gto., June 3, 2016.- Scholars from the University of Guanajuato, among them the Rector of Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, participate in the Seminar "The question of water, interdisciplinary and international reflections" that unveils in Bordeaux University, France.

In this way, the University of Guanajuato (UG) is present in the dialogues with French colleagues, university men and administrators of information centers on water contamination problems and control of rain floods or tide in the Atlantic Ocean.

In that order, Doctors Javier Corona Fernández, Yann René Ramos Arroyo, César Federico Macías Cervantes, José Luis Lara Valdés and the doctorate-student professor in Engineering, Julio César Martínez Arredondo, are who participate in posters, presentations and deliberations in the seminar, where they'll meet the experience with governance of water in the region of Aquitania, population around Bordeaux.

During the encounter, it will be presented the photo show "Towards water" (autour de l'Eau), of Guillermo Roux, made in Guanajuato during the works of the first Seminar in April and May 2015.

It is worth mentioning that processes of teaching, research and extension related towards water have been done, every time the Rectory of Campus Guanajuato has it as a priority program, and in fact, the spirit with what the University Center has established in the city of Tierra Blanca, leads to that objective: the sustainability based in natural resources, the studies on Sierra Gorda Reserve of the Biosphere and more actions of environmental education.
