
Salamanca, Gto., June 6, 2016.- The automotive sector in the State of Guanajuato seeks providers with capability of innovation in materials and good logistic, pointed the Excellence Yasuhisa Suzuki, General Consul of Japan in León, when talking about the opportunity areas that exist in the industry.
When giving the conference "Mexico—Japan, the rise of a new automotive era" in the Division of Engineering of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca from the University of Guanajuato (UG), Mr. Suzuki showed that in the last years, the number of Japanese businesses in the Bajío has tripled to 450 and the Japanese population in this zone has quadrupled, reaching 3,500 habitants.
Nevertheless, the "boom" of the automotive sector, there are some pendants as the lack of Mexican providers, the cost of energy, small and fast transport services, since the automotive industry requires logistic.
He showed that every car has more than 1,500m of electrical wire, electronic sensors, since they work with electronic fuel injection systems, image and sound sensors, for the control of the motor and fuel tank, among others.
To the conference attended Dr. Arturo Lara López, Ex-General Rector of the University of Guanajuato and current Secretary of Innovation, Science and Higher Education from the state of Guanajuato, who remarked the great tradition of friendship between Guanajuato and Japan.
He highlighted the capacity of development of Guanajuato and the areas to develop to go from a state of manufacture to a state of innovation, since the desire of the government of Guanajuato is to boost the development of a new era.
