Guanajuato, Gto., June 6, 2016.- With the objective to encourage the comprehensive formation of the university community, students from the University of Guanajuato (UG) received scholarships within activities of the "Súper Copa Telcel".

These scholarships consisted in computers, printers, and infinitum service, which are oriented to enrich and provide the tools for the development and learning of students of the Maximum House of Studies.

Representing UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, the Director of Student Development, M. José Osvaldo Chávez Rodríguez accompanied the students in the reception of the support.

The scholarships were granted through the Foundation Telemx-Telcel with the support from the President of the state DIF, Mrs. Maru Carreño de Márquez; General Director of the state DIF, Lic. José Alfonso Borja Pimentel; the operative Director of the Foundation Telmex, José Fausto Cota Chirino; and the Manager of Plaza León of Telcel, Gerardo Chacón Vázquez.

it is important to mention that the Foundation Telmex provides support in a national level in four priority programs: Education, Health, Social justice and culture, as well as Human Development.

The reception of these scholarships was the result of the joint effort of the people mentioned before with the mission to improve the quality of the learning and the youth's environment.

Furthermore, during the event the students had the opportunity to presence the development of the "Súper Copa Telcel", which was made in León's Racetrack.
