
Guanajuato, Gto., June 7, 2016.- From August 7th to 13th, a group of students and professors from the Department of Music from Campus Guanajuato, will participate in the International Festival of Guitar in Brno, Czech Republic, invited by M. Vladislav Bláha, Director of the Festival and President of the Czech Association of Guitar.
It is worth mentioning that such festival is already 25 years old, it is one of the most important in Europe and is classified by foreign professional magazines as one of the most important guitar festivals in the world. The venue of the same will be in the city of Brno, and it is because for the concert it lends a beautiful historical room with baroque paintings in the walls of the new city hall.
In this encounter will participate, for their outstanding development, students Marco Antonio Plaza Huichapa, Aldo Antonio Muñoz Salazar & Gabriel Pedraza Álvarez; as well as professors Antonio Muñoz, Ricardo Badillo & Arnoldo García, everyone from the department of Music from the Division of Architecture, Art and Design (DAAD) from Campus Guanajuato.

M. Ricardo Badillo explained that there has been previous invitation and have gone as an ensemble to play, to a master class and this time three students and teachers are going, who will participate in conferences and taking classes. To the festival attend the most important people in the guitar ambiance in the world, he said, and it is important that the student take classes with the best in the world, to know new techniques and relate with youth from another country.
The participation of these college men of Guanajuato will consist in a conference-concert, in the meantime the professors speak of Mexican musicians such as Manuel M. Ponce, Julio César Oliva, Gerardo Tamez, the students play works from such composers. Also, this year they'll make reference to the Latin American Musicians Heitor Villa-lobos and Antonio Lauro.
He agreed with M. Arnoldo García, who added that young students were selected for their contribution as students and performance as musicians, who have in sight to become professionals.
The three young students selected for the festival, coincided in that there is a great opportunity offered by the University of Guanajuato to learn from professionals and co-exist with students from other countries and cultures.
Finally, M.
