Guanajuato, Gto., June 7, 2016.- Local congresswoman Elvira Paniagua Rodríguez, president of the "Comisión de Hacienda y Fiscalización", considered that the public accounts the University of Guanajuato (UG) handles are clear for the development of college life.

The previous, within the work meeting held in the facilities of the "Auditoría Superior del Estado de Guanajuato (ASEG)", in which the congresswoman Paniagua Rodríguez commented that the liaison between both instances strengthened to work in a coordinated manner.

"La Comisión de Hacienda y Fiscalización" managed before the "Junta de Gobierno y Coordinación Política" to approach the University of Guanajuato. "We treated subjects of prevention, the subject of transparency and works done by the very own institution", precise the congresswoman Paniagua Rodríguez.

UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, dwell that it is an obligation of the institution to settle accounts, which will give place to a joint analysis on the topic of diverse activities from the university with the purpose that the institution approaches to instruments of transparency for research, teaching, extension and university management.

Another fruitful result of the reunion, Dr. Guerrero Agripino pointed out that the exchange of information between the participants allowed knowing the policies and criteria that emerged from the "Comisión de Hacienda y Fiscalización", and the presentation of the university's know-how.

He reminded, to the attendees that the University is in process of updating and comprehensive reform, as well as the normativity, the Plan for Institutional Development (PLADI), as well as the process of the administration's continuous improvement.

"We are interested in knowing in what way, during the update process, we can have control schemes, internal audit, account settlement and transparency of all the university's know-how", precise the General Rector of UG.
