
Celaya, Gto., June 7, 2016.- With the objective to divulge the products generated in the classroom in the subjects of Community Nursing and Research, as well as to motivate the students to expose their work in health topics, there was the First Intercampus Research Forum in the University of Guanajuato (UG).
At the event, aimed for Nursing students, participated near 200 students from Campus Celaya-Salvatierra and Campus León venue Guanajuato. The coordination was in charge of Dr. José Manuel Herrera Paredes, and doctors Leticia Cacique, Alicia Álvarez and Leticia Pratz.
Dr. José Manuel Herrera, organizer of the event, commented that the purpose of the forum is to "involve" the youth in the field of knowing from the area of health, and that can be introduces in research, as a scientific process that validates their knowledge, we generated an academic encounter with students from the University of Guanajuato, which enriches the view and perspective of the actual problems from the health sector."
For the youth, the participation in front of the auditorium is gratifying, being able to expose the research with subjects such as the use of alcohol in primary education, implications of diabetes and kidney problems.
Sergio Rafael Díaz González, student from the eighth semester of the degree in Nursing at Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, was satisfied of exposing his research to peers from other campus "our objective is to learn more and we like that our work is recognized, because it validates all the effort done through the semester, we made the topic of suicidal behavior in teenagers who have suffered family violence, we expect to contribute in something" he finalized.
