
Guanajuato, Gto., June 10, 2016.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) signed a collaboration agreement with "Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE)," that covers the four university campus and where they determine, among other aspects, the aperture of clinical fields.
This agreement has the objective to improve the theoretical-practical education of students, workers and right holders from ISSSTE through collaboration and coordination of diverse activities.
The General Rector of the UG, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino signed such agreement and highlighted that it is an opportunity to broaden the possibilities of academic participation, as well as to fulfill the accomplishment of common objectives. Likewise, reaffirmed the commitment of the Maximum House of Studies to continue working in benefit for the society.
This collaboration is open for all academic programs of degree and postgraduate, besides, it implies actions to encourage and easer the social service and the professional practices for the students.
ISSSTE's General Director, Lic. José Reyes Baeza Terrazas thanked UG for the reception and made public the relevance of the participation of the same in the generation of a culture and awareness of prevention in society.
ISSSTE will support with clinical spaces such as offices, operating rooms, therapy areas, from the Hospital Clinics in Celaya, Irapuato & Guanajuato and Clinics of Family Medicine in León & Celaya, among others.
Will also allow access for students to diverse facilities of ISSSTE in the state, as well as diverse sports programs, cultural and training, among others. Likewise, it will offer the service of nutrition, quality and processes of hospital certification, as well as a clinical laboratory for the realization of college practices.
it is worth to mention, that the governor of the state of Guanajuato, Lic. Miguel Márquez Márquez as an honor witness of such collaboration and was clear this is a way to encourage the professionals of diverse areas.
In the agreement signing were present the Academic Secretary of UG, Dr. José Luis Lucio Martínez; Director of Liaison at UG, Dr. Salvador Hernández Castro; State Delegate of ISSSTE, Dr. Cándido Pérez Verduzco; among other university, state and federal authorities.
