Guanajuato, Gto., June 15, 2016. During the closing ceremony of courses at Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, the State Governor, Lic. Miguel Márquez Márquez, announced that they will finance the construction of a soccer field and a track.

The state mandatary made the announcement to answer the request from Carlos Ezequiel Téllez Campos, who mentioned the necessity to have a sport infrastructure.

The constructions that the state government will contribute will be with a grass soccer field and a tartan track, whose construction may begin this year and its foreseen to be concluded on 2017.

When giving a message in the closing ceremony of courses, the State Governor congratulated the graduates that now face the challenge of being productive and work in benefit of the society.

He also recognized the work from the authorities of the House of Studies and foresaw more success for the institution, since –he said— "the University is in good hands, in people that knows their office, that knows, wants, loves their University, and who better than you to take care of her."

In his intervention, the General Rector of the University of Guanajuato (UG), Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, said that the graduation of 223 students makes patent the strength of teamwork, because it represents not only the effort from the students, but their families, professors and personnel from the institution that offered them advise and accompaniment during their study years.

To the recently graduates, reminded them that "Each student of our House of Studies must have her/his roots in their University home and the sufficient wings to fly" and sustained that each one of them represents "the greatness, the history and the strength of the University of Guanajuato."

The Rector of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, Dr. Ma. Guadalupe Ojeda Vargas emphasized in the comprehensive formation that UG offers, reason why she called the students to raise their alma mater and its principles of freedom, truth and justice that characterize the institution.

Representing the students, Carlos Ezequiel Téllez reaffirmed his gratitude to the House of Studies and invited the graduates to have an exemplary attitude, that motivates more people to study at UG's classrooms. "Remember fellows that wherever we go we have the responsibility to raise the name of our Alma Mater and within our possibilities, reattribute something of what it has given us", he affirmed.

In the closing ceremony of courses was also present the Municipal President of Celaya, Eng. Ramón Lemus Muñoz Ledo; the Secretary of Innovation, Science and Higher Education, Dr. Arturo Lara López; the Federal Delegate of the Secretary of Public Education (SEP), M. Fernando Bribiesca Sahagún; as well as legislators and state and municipal functionaries.
