Guanajuato, Gto., June 16, 2016.- Talent, passion and commitment is what the children from Children's Symphonic Orchestra from the Department of Music of the University of Guanajuato (OSIDeMUG) displayed with the emotive concert to celebrate their third anniversary.

OSIDeMUG pleased the attendees with a wide selection of pieces from where stood out "El vals sobre las olas" of Juventino Rosas, "Overture 1812" and a suite from the "Swan Lake" of Tchaikovsky.

With an excited audience they also played the "Emperor's Hymn" of J. Haydn; the tango "El Choclo" of A.G. Villoldo; and the tango "La Comparsita" of G. Matos Rodríguez; among other pieces.

Directed by the M. José Rafael Melgar Azanza, the Orchestra is composed by 30 children from elementary school, middle school and high school from the cities of Guanajuato, León and Silao.

It is important to highlight that OSIDeMUG has made converts in outstanding scenarios such as the Building of Arts from Campus Guanajuato of UG, the Park Expo Bicentennial, the State's Auditorium and Teatro Juárez.

Likewise, has presented with other orchestras such as the Symphonic of the High School College, the Student's Symphonic of the Department of Music of UG and with the Orchestra of the School of Puerto Vallarta.

The Orchestra was created with the objective to encourage the music from an early age and joins diverse skills that develop the students in individual classes so then they can apply them in the group.

In the concert were present the General Rector of UG, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino; Rector of Campus Guanajuato of UG, Dr. Javier Corona Fernández; among other university authorities.
