
León, Gto., June 17, 2016.- With the objective to divulge the topics of protection of industrial property and their documentation before the "Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial (IMPI)" aimed for students of the Division of Sciences and Engineering of Campus León from the University of Guanajuato.
The workshop was given by the M. Gabriel Ravelo Izquierdo, Departmental Coordinator of Brands and Protection of the Industrial Property, from the IMPI. In this activity, he highlighted the importance of knowing the rights granted by the State to a physical or moral person about an invention, design, utility model and distinctive sign.
The speaker explained to the students the different elements that compose the concept of industrial property such as: the patents, brands, industrial designs, utility models and industrial secrets. This with the purpose that they access the benefits of the registry of brands for research projects and inventions.
Likewise, highlighted the rights that are obtained when you register in the different categories the products of industrial property and the benefits the holder obtains and the country, since it directly encourages the economic development, the competitiveness and generate better quality products.
