Guanajuato, Gto., June 17, 2016.- Professors Rosa Arvizu García and Ana Laura Becerra Cantero from the High School College (ENMS) from San Luis de la Paz, as well as Diana Karina Hernández Díaz, from HS Centro Histórico León, were creditors of a scholarship from the Program of International Mobility for English teachers and directors from the Sub-secretary of High Education-COMEXUS.

The scholarship allows them to attend a course to strengthen the competencies in leadership and teaching of English language as a foreign language, update methodologies and didactic techniques that are used, and broaden their knowledge of the American culture.

Such course will occur in prestigious universities of United Stated and will last for six weeks, between the month of July and August 2016.

The professors participated through a national summon, in which they went through two stages to obtain the scholarship organized by the Secretary of Public Education (SEP), through the Sub-secretary of Higher Education and the Commission Mexico-United States for the Educative and Cultural Exchange (COMEXUS).

On the matter, the scholars expressed that winning this scholarship motivates them to continue forward with their teaching performance, and commented that this type of support are important to strengthen the language and obtain tools and strategies that help them in their labor with the students, so they are proud to represent the University of Guanajuato.
