León, Gto., june 17, 2016.- With the purpose of promoting art, culture and offer spaces to provide a greater knowledge of the musical works in the city of León, the University of Guanajuato (UG) Campus León inaugurated the program "Musical Wednesdays" with the participation of the Pianist Everardo Rojas, who recited two pieces of Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and Liszt.

The pianist offered a repertoire in which stands out: Etdue tableau No. 7 of Rachmaninoff, Sonata for piano in C major Op. 53 "Waldstein" I.Allegro with Brio, II. Adagio Molto-Allegro Moderato of Ludwig Van Beethoven, among others.

Such program will offer concerts, recitals, talks, and conferences about music in different venues of Campus León, that will be programmed once a month.

Everardo Rojas was excited for being the first guest of the program and commented in an interview his satisfaction for the opportunity to recite music of great composers.

Besides he commented that the initiative of Campus Leon, and the Cultural Institute of León allows new talents to prove his skills in a stage.

It is worth mentioning that Everardo Rojas studies the degree in Music-Instrumentalist at the University of Guanajuato and seeks to have a professional formation and improve his technique and knowledge.

The inauguration was carried out in the auditorium Jorge Ibargüengoitia from the venue Forum.
