Guanajuato, Gto., June 20, 2016.- With the finality to improve the education given in the University of Guanajuato, consolidate and strengthen the academic formation of students, in the Division of Architecture, Art and Design (DAAD) from Campus Guanajuato, began the evaluation in situ of the academic program of the major in Architecture.

The accreditation (second cycle) from the Educative program of the degree in Architecture, is done from June 19th to 22nd at DAAD, once the internal process of reaccreditation of such program concluded from the evaluating team of the "Acreditadora Nacional de Programas de Arquitectura y Disciplinas del Espacio Habitable (ANPADEH)."

The evaluating team was received by Dr. Javier Corona Fernández, Rector of Campus Guanajuato, M. Juan Martín Aguilera Morales, DAAD's director and M. Jorge Enrique Cabrejos Moreno, Director of the Department of Architecture.

The accreditation is a thorough revision process in all educative and administrative aspects of an academic program, with the objective to give notice of their quality and social and institutional pertinence, observed the Rector of Campus Guanajuato, who revealed that the diagnosis and recommendation from the evaluating group, will be welcomed, they will be understood as an opportunity to integrate improvement plans.

It is worth mentioning that the process of accreditation of study programs done by the ANPADEH, is sustained in the collegiate work of distinguished professionals that have the responsibility to make evaluation tasks of the quality in the areas of Architecture and Disciplines of the Living Space.

Such activity is done by a team formed by scholars from diverse institution, a graduate of the own program and professional scholar in the discipline: as academic representatives are M. Fernando Mora Mora, from Universidad de Guadalajara; M. Enrique Díaz Barreiro from UNAM and Dr. María Eugenia Molar Orozco from Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila.

In this team were also M. Pedro Ayala Serrato, from "Colegio de Arquitectos Guanajuatenses" as a representative of the professional sector and the architect José Bernardo Flores García from UG as representative of the graduates; as well as M. Maria Guadalupe Paulette as representative of the evaluated institution and the Director of the Department of Architecture, M. Jorge Enrique Cabrejos Moreno.
